Be happy in the Present

It's been awhile since my last blog..so I was inspired today to restart my blog again.

You know how you set up a target in your life, may it promotions, apprisals, or money or becoming the first millionaire or whatever you wanted. I think sometimes we're engrossed with trying to achieve our ambitions that we take what we have for granted. I think what everybody want is happiness and not those material things. It's being happy at all phase especially at present. The power of gratitude is so huge. With all these running around on working days and non working days, I just like to sit down and just be grateful for everything that I have instead of complaining. Just enjoy whatever you have. Even though you don't have a great big house but appreciate the house in order to go forward. Let the the divine help.

I just want to say that I'm so so grateful and happy for my wonderful hubby (Thanks yang), my 2 beautiful kids (my cute Adam and my sweet Aisyah....the apple of my eye...u guys keep me on my toes) and 2 such supporting parents(Thanks Abah for your help and Mom's for keeping us straight) and family. I'm blessed with a good job and income and have everything I need.I'm so fully satisfied with my life but I don't mind having more...hehehehe. I would love to have more too.. but I think the process and the journey is what is important to be what I want to be and have. InsyaAllah, god willing.

Preparing to be a Millionaire

.With all the news about high oil prices, downturn of the economic, recessions, it sounds pretty gloomy right? But it's different with me because I'm preparing myself to be a millionaire. My target is to invest in two vehicle during the recession. I know recession is a taboo for everyone but I look at it as an opportunity. Expect it to be in mid 2009 so I'm preparing for it....

My preparation is to invest in stocks when the stocks falls below 800 KLCI index so I'm preparing my self to find out which stocks would be the best stocks. Listening to the CD by Mary Buffet helps I guys.... I'm still browsng around. (More on buffetology too). And sell the shares when the KLCI index is around 1100(50%), 1200(30%), 1300%(20%). I've identified a few shares but they're way too high now.

My next preparation is capture the downturn in the realestate as well. I'm trying to browse and look for a target location and understanding the property cost. I'm still ambivalent of which areas to look at whether in Bangi(where I lived), or in Kelana Jaya(my dads) or Bangsar (the high end). I should really be focused. I plan to go for the auction on 20th, so I'm doing my homework, hopefully I can finish it up. I do too much planning and too little action but I can't blame myself either to be cautious after my boo boo with my first realestate investment.

Farewell But Not at Heart

Welcome everyone,

My last days in Esso, these few days. Thanks for all your support. I've really enjoyed my days working in Esso since day one, mostly due to the people working side by side. Maybe the last 2 years was challenging to me, but it was still an unforgetable experience for me. My only wish in my next job is to enjoy working whether it would be in my career or business.

Keep in touch and may god guide us all.

ps: If you are interested to start a blog for personal or business, let me know.

Retire Young Retire Rich

The year is almost ending and reminiscing the month up to today, a lot of things have changed. There were lot's of pains, lot's of self discovery, lots of self understanding and coming back to the roots. I wrote a list of things that I want to achieve last year. I managed to lost weight to my target...yes!!!!, I had spend 1 hr a day with my kids and I've made some profits in my investments(I could do more but I'm grateful with what I got). I did pretty good last year and will continue to aim what I want to do end of 2008...ehem ehem my target of getting a million by end of 2008 is still there. I really do hope I achieve it.

I've been reading Retire Young Retire Rich book by Robert Kiyosaki and the main way to do that is 1st cash flow and 2nd leverage. This particular book emphasize on leverage...basically using other people's money or using other people's time. Also to meet the target, you have to find WHY you want to retire rich? That would be the determing factor. The how is not as important to why you're doing it. If you have a good basis on the WHY, the others will follow(of course with the right education). What about my WHY's?
1. I don't anybody else tell me how good or how bad my performance is?
2. I want to spend more time with my family whenever I want and how I want it. Not decided by company policy(8 to 5 check out)
3. I want to be able to do whatever I want at whatever time, how I want to do it.(preferably first class)
4. I want to be able to wake up in the morning feeling happy and grateful. I don't want to wake up to thinking of how horrible my work or bosses are.

To all, have a great 2007 and welcome 2008

Focus, Action and Finish Job

Hi everyone,

After the Unleash Your Marketing Genius Seminar by Stephen Pierce Coaching Program, I find myself thinking of what I really want to do with my life to achieve my target of getting my millions. I think like most people, I just want to do so many things and totally unfocused. I guess like everyone, I tend to go for so many seminars trying to find how I can really make money. Do you feel the same way?

One of the speaker in UYMG mentioned that you need to be focus and plan. Put one target every month and monitor how successful you’re going. I have so many ideas and so many things that I want to do. Want to do is so so different than actually DOING it. So plan what are the things you want to do and have deadlines to make sure you do it. And also having one finished project is 100% better than having 100 of unfinished. At least you’ve made money of the one finished project. Is that right?

Ramadhan, the muslim’s fasting month is also close to the end. Time flies so fast and I admit I wished that I did more in terms of doing deeds like praying, helping the children and the poor but I also feel so grateful to god that I have my family – my husband, my son(Adam) and daughter(Aisyah) in healthy and celebrate the Ramadhan and the Eid together. God bless them. Thank you God.

Happy Eid and May God Bless You!!!

DREAMS OF HOW TO MAKE 27 MILLION PER DAY - SLIM DID IT

Everybody knows Bill Gates right, he used the richest the world. BUT do you know who is the richest man now. Have you heard of Carlos Slim Helu? Wall Street Journal on August 4, 2007 and Fortune Magazine on August 6, 2007 reported that Carlos Slim Helu had topped Bill Gates’ position as the wealthiest person in the world. See his picture down there?

He controls Teléfonos de México (Telmex), Telcel and América Móvil companies. Carlos Slim's estimated fortune soared to US$59 billion, based on the value of his public holdings at the end of July. Microsoft founder Bill Gates' net worth was estimated to be at least US$58 billion.

Slim's critics claim that he is a monopolist, noting that his company Telmex controls 90% of the Mexican landline telephone market (the other 10% is controlled by TELNOR, which only serves on the Northwest part of Mexico). The contrast between Slim's wealth and the poverty of much of Mexico's population is also troubling to critics. Slim's wealth is equal to roughly 7% of Mexico's annual economic output, an astronomical figure compared to that of America's top billionaires. At the height of John D. Rockefeller's wealth his income only totalled 2.5% of America's economic output. Over the last two years Slim has made an average of $27 million per day.
